MYSIA. Kyzikos (?). Circa 600-550 BC. Hemihekte – 1/12 Stater (Electrum, 8 mm, 1.31 g). Louvar (?) to left; below, tunny (?) to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Hurter & Liewald III, p. 14, 3. SNG Paris -. Von Fritze I -. Extremely rare. A wonderful piece with an exceptional rendering of a louvar (?). The reverse struck slightly off center and with faint scratches, otherwise, very fine.
